Black Friday is a day when retail stores have huge discounts to promote the start of Christmas shopping.

2. When is Black Friday?
Black Friday is on the Friday after Thanksgiving Day.

3. What time do some stores open up?
Most of the time stores open at 5 a.m. or earlier.

4. What is the origin of the term “Black Friday”?
“Black”, as in Black Friday, refers to the saying, “in the dark”, that means making a profit.

5. What is the History of Black Friday?
Thanksgiving marks the beginning of the holiday shopping season so the idea of Black Friday may be linked to the Santa Claus Parades. It originated from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

7. What does this mean to you?
What this means to me is that people will do almost anything just to save a few dollars. In the most recent years, more people have been joining the trend of camping out for Black Friday.

8. Where can I find advertisements for Black Friday?
They are sometimes mailed at least a week before Black Friday. They can also be found on specific store websites. Sometimes ads are posted on private sites because they are either stolen or hacked in order to post them earlier than intended.

9. What is Cyborg Monday?
Cyborg Monday is the Monday following Thanksgiving and Black Friday. It’s a day of high discounts but on the internet only.

This was an assignment for my Advanced Computer class. The purpose for this was to practice making layouts on Microsoft Office Word 2007. Soon we will be taking computers apart and drawing the inside on Word.

I created this Tripod as instructed by my computer teacher. I think that this is pointless and it’s confusing to use. This program is “WYSIWYG”, which is something like “what you see is what you get”.

I used Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006 Editor to crop 5 random people out and put them together. I used the moon as my background and pasted everyone on there.
